Environmental Health

To elucidate the relationship between human beings and environment and to protect human health.

Industrialization urbanization and globalization have brought new environmental challenges. To assess the health risks associated with these environmental problems, the following components are essential:

  • Sufficient information on various environmental hazards
  • Accurate and precise exposure assessment
  • Quantitative evaluation of exposure-response relationship

The goals of our division are to establish the methods for comprehensive evaluation of health risks of environmental factor and to prevent adverse health effects and to promote health in human populations.
